Tiffany was born and raised in Denver. She owns BeAfrica, a textile African fabric company that creates unique and functional homemade goods. She launched BeAfrica in 2016 and is on a mission to outfit men and women in vibrant and strong fabrics from Africa. Here’s what Tiffany shared with me about being a Black woman in Denver.

What does it mean to you to be Black in Denver?

To be Black in Denver means to be rooted in a culture that is fluid but unapologetically natural, consistently evolving, and energetically powerful.

What do you love most about living in Denver?

I love the diverse atmosphere and the array of activities – there is something here for everyone.
